Facilities Manager - City of London and West End - £43,000

You will be a first class Front of House / Facilities service, focusing on a proactive approach to deliver a high quality, professional service in line with client expectations.

The main activities of the services team include providing exceptional client experience, managing property, general administration operation, maintenance and repairs to provide a quality safe and secure environment for staff, clients and visitors.

This role will be the central point of contact for all building / service related issues ensuring the team are confident representing facilities as the 'go to' point of contact with any customer queries / problems.

  • Lead and develop the London FOH / Facilities team across two locations in London utilising performance management techniques to monitor and demonstrate achievement of agreed service levels and to lead on improvement / change as required
  • Act as the go-to individual for the South East / West Region in relation to all facilities / projects / crisis management activities on site
  • Direct, coordinate and plan essential services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, reprographics, cleaning, catering, waste disposal and recycling
  • You will take ownership and lead an ongoing service / a number of commodity services for the group
  • Control location operational / budget and support the forecasting process for future budget requirements
  • Ensure timely responses to maintenance / service issues, minimising downtime whilst demonstrating value for money
  • Project management, supervise and coordinate the work of contractors and service providers
  • Plan, lead and deliver all aspects of property relocation projects
  • Ensure at all times adherence to all regulations, legislation and policies relevant to the working environment which will include health and safety and building regulations

Preferably you will be experienced in delivering services for a professional services organisation along with experience in financial management and budgeting while identifying cost savings / avoidance.

Do you have an advanced skill set in Microsoft Office? Do you have experience in management with a proven ability in leading, developing and motivating teams to successful outcomes? A recognised qualification in management and leadership would be an advantage for this role.
