Researcher Associate

A 'best-in-class' city based Executive Search firm specialising in Asset Management is looking to build their team with 3 additional Researcher roles being signed-off.

Based in lovely offices in the heart of the City, the role of the Researcher Associate is to:

• Identify, source, interest and qualify potential candidates for interview by the Consultants, so as to enable high quality shortlists to be presented to clients in the shortest possible time.
• Provide primary and secondary research into the market, target companies and candidates in support of the team converting business development and proposal opportunities.
• Capture and maintain accurate market, client and candidate information on the company's database system so as to both facilitate the search process and help convert business development opportunities.

This role will suit candidates with the following attributes:

• Genuine interest in Financial Markets and good industry knowledge (in theory or practice)
• An attention to detail and strong PC skills, including Excel, Powerpoint, and the willingness to learn how to utilise investment research and analytical tools.
• An adaptable and flexible manner coupled with the ability to deal with people from a variety of backgrounds.
• Self-confident, with a maturity of outlook.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education to first degree level or similar, (not Masters level) possibly with an additional academic or professional qualification.
• Preference for one to three years prior working experience in a relevant quality corporate or professional services organisation.
• Practical research experience (ideally) either during studies, or post-graduation work experience.

Salary: £23,000 to £27,000 depending on experience plus uncapped commission and benefits (Researchers can earn over £40,000 in their first year)
