Our client provides comprehensive support for investment businesses, acting as the "Chief Operating Officer" on an outsourced basis to its investment management clients. One aspect of the comprehensive support is the financial piece - Accounts Assistants look after a portfolio of clients looking after the accounting and bookkeeping for each client. With work volume increasing, they are looking to take on a Financial Administrator. As this is a newly created role, they are looking for someone to temp for a few months while they work out the specifics of the role. After 3/4 months they will look at making the role permanent - this could be a new employee or the temp going permanent.

Person requirements:

• some experience of bookkeeping and Sage Line 50
• good knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• strong attention to detail
• have a can-do attitude and be a team player

You will be supporting 4 Account Assistants and be reporting to the CFO. There is a lovely collaborative feel here, where everyone is working towards the same goal. Core hours for the Accounts Assistant are 9 - 5, but with this role there is the option for hours to be a little flexible, with the possibility of leaving at 4, for example.
