TOP EA TO CEO’S OF CREATIVE COMMUNITY CHARITY
An exciting role has arisen for an Executive Assistant to support the two CEO’s of a community focused charitable organisation, with amazing ambition and an exciting vision. This charity is doing amazing work locally in London, and helps to support the local area and communities with forward-thinking initiates, creative events, and a hub for people to enjoy, be creative and socialise. A right hand to the two CEO’s, you will take ownership of planning, organising and helping to deliver their workload, by supporting them with all matters to ensure business runs smoothly. Joining an incredibly down-to-earth and welcoming team, you will be passionate about the work that this charity does, and will be integral to its organisation’s continued success.
You will be highly skilled in strategic planning and people management, and be passionate about working for a charity supporting and enhancing the lives of people in the local community. Based in lovely area of West London, opposite a mainline tube station, the hours for this position are 9am to 5pm (35 hour week), with flexibility offered at times.
Duties include:
- Complex diary management.
- Planning & coordinating meetings – both internal and external.
- Meeting papers preparation and distribution, including agendas and minute taking on occasion.
- Following up on meeting actions to ensure they have been completed.
- Line management of Receptionists.
- Administrative support on recruitment and inductions.
- Event planning and management.
- Maintaining an ordering stationary supplies and equipment.
- Maintaining up-to-date filing and archiving processes.
- Health & Safety risk assessments and standard maintenance.
Essential Criteria:
- Prior experience in a similar role supporting C-Level Executives.
- Experience of committee work and procedures – able to produce high quality reports and notes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – able to professionally engage at all levels.
- Proficient in Microsoft packages and tech savvy to learn new business tools.
- Awareness on health & safety matters.
- A ‘can-do’ positive attitude – solution-focussed and a natural problem solver.
- High levels of initiative and ability to follow up without prompting.
- Discreet with the ability to maintain impartiality, fairness and confidentiality at all times.
- A calm and personable character – able to remain unflappable in challenging situations.
- Well-organised and efficient, with a good eye for detail.
- Knowledge of charity governance and board structures is desirable.
- Demonstrable understanding of the needs of diverse communities and a commitment to equality of opportunity.
