Clinical Technician at luxury clinic on Harley Street – no experience needed / up to £23k

This luxury health clinic based on Harley Street is looking for a Clinical Technician to work in a team of 4 and alongside the nursing team.  The role mainly involves ophthalmic (eye) diagnostic testing as well as helping with surgical and administrative duties. Prior to eye surgery all patients have to undergo a set of tests and these are the responsibility of this Clinical Technician.  Previous experience of eye testing is not needed as full training will be given.  This may suit a recent graduate or someone that has an interest in healthcare and previous customer service experience would be ideal.   As you will be client facing, good communication skills are essential and as you will also be uploading all the tests onto a database excellent attention to detail is imperative. 

Duties involve:

• Pre and post-operative ophthalmic testing for all patients
• Ordering of medical supplies and handling clinical supplies
• Stock take
• Following Care Quality Commission standards

 Skills required

• Minimum of 1 year in a previous customer facing experience
• No experience in the Ophthalmic sector required – full training given
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• A self-starter, capable of working within a team with minimal supervision
• Clerical and administrative experience using computers
• Working knowledge of a simple database application, word, excel, email and Internet
• Good problem-solving skills
• Excellent organisational skills

You would be required to work 42 hours a week including a 1 hour lunch break and you would work every Saturday in exchange for 1 day off in the week.

08:00-16:30

08:30-17:00

09:00-17:30

09:30-18:00
