Senior Laberour

Our client in the construction industry based in Richmond has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Labourer to join their busy but friendly team.

• We are looking for a senior fireplace fitter/installer
• No previous experience is necessary as full training given
• Must have a current CSCS certificate.
•  We require someone able to follow basic drawings for the construction of false chimney breasts, experience with using metal stud work and fibrous boards would be advantageous. (i.e. dry lining)
• Attention to detail is critical.
• Full, clean driving licence essential.
• We will supply a fully equipped van for use during the working week.
• You will be working with a labourer who we will also supply.
• The working week is Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturdays if required.
• Hours are from 7.30.a.m. -5.30pm
• You should be able to read CAD drawings and make decisions on site and liaise with site foreman and surveyors
• You will also be required to line flues and install fire boxes and mantels, and granite slips and hearths. (full training - given)
• Must be happy to work at heights as we often have to work off scaffold when lining flues
• A domestic gas fire qualification would also be an advantage but not essential
• You must be physically fit as the units we use are very heavy and presentable.
