Events Coordinator

We are looking for a part-time Events Coordinator to join this wonderful and passionate team on a temporary basis up until November. This role is to begin immediately and you'll be responsible with assisting the annual UK Ball.

What you will be doing?

in this role, you will be assisting the Events department with the coordination, organisation and running of their annual charity ball. Your responsibilities will include -

• answering calls from supporters and logging information about supporters accurately, dealing promptly with enquiries both over the telephone and in writing
• provide administrative support
• ensure any mailings and post are dispatched effectively on a daily basis
• help with writing and creating marketing material as required
• liaising with prize donors, advertisers, designers and printers regarding production of special events material
• assist colleagues with the smooth running of the event, liaising with venue, organisers and suppliers
• events administration and attending the event

About you

We are looking for someone who has previous experience with events and exposure to working large scale events. Exceptional customer service should be high on your list of priorities and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. You will succeed in this role if you are well organised, have the ability to prioritise and multi-task with a keen eye for detail. A proven interest in the charity sector and specifically working within events will be great. You go a long way in this role if you are enthusiastic, confident, resilient and a self-starter.
