Facilities Assistant

Immediate Start

My client who is an international bank based in the West End is looking for an experienced and qualified facilities individual to provide efficient support with regard to security, maintenance and the procurement side of the business. This is a busy and varied role and would suit someone who is a very hands on person and would like to be part of this successful and stable company.

Duties will include:

• Ad-hoc maintenance of the premises and organisation of engineering and repair work.
• Overseeing regular contractors, i. cleaners, maintenance etc.
• Manning the security desk, franking post, disposing of confidential waste and ad hoc maintenance/repairs.
• Act as key holder for the bank
• Responsible for the maintenance of the alarm and the CCTV and monitoring of the CCTV for security purposes
• Overseeing all the Health and Safety, Security and Fire policies and procedures.
• Renewing and negotiating of contracts
• Occasional chauffeuring as and when requested
• Overseeing the maintenance of the company car, including routine checks
• Acting as first aider and performing Fire Marshall duties
• Maintenance of photocopier supplies
