Executive Assistant to the Deputy Executive Director, Partnerships

£33,000 per annum

Unicef ensures more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation. We have done more to influence laws and policies to help protect children than anyone else. We get things done. And we’re not going to stop until the world is a safe place for all our children.

We are currently recruiting for a highly-organised and self-motivated EA to join the Executive and Partnerships Teams at Unicef UK. As EA to the Deputy Executive Director, Partnerships, you will provide proactive and effective support, facilitating the efficient running of the Partnerships Directorate and leading on projects agreed with the Deputy Executive Director.

This is a busy EA role, providing both one-to-one and team support, planning and coordinating meetings and events, financial administration and servicing meetings.

To succeed, you will have significant experience of providing high level administration support at senior management or board level, including complex diary management, planning and coordinating major meetings and events.

Organised and proactive, you will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicting priorities and competing demands.  You will be a confident communicator, able to develop positive relationships with external contacts and partners, inspiring trust and confidence.

This is a great opportunity to provide support at the highest level and gain insight into strategic projects at a world leading charity.

Act now and visit www.unicef.org.uk/jobs to apply online.

Closing date: 5pm, Monday 1 October 2018.

Interview date: Thursday 11 October 2018.

We welcome applications from a diverse range of people, respecting and drawing on different perspectives, skills, experience and knowledge.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for a criminal records check. A criminal record will not necessarily bar you from working with us. This will depend on the nature of the role and the circumstances of your offences.

We only accept online applications as this saves us money, making more funds available for us to help ensure children’s rights. CVs will not be accepted.

If you require support in completing the online form or an application form in an alternative format, please contact Supporter Care on 0300 330 5580 during office hours.

If you do not hear from us within 14 days of the closing date, please assume your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion. Please note that we only provide feedback to shortlisted candidates.
