THE COMPANY: Our client is a Market-Leading Insurance company in the heart of Central London. The buzz is immediate when you work in the door and the pace is high.  Hundreds of corporate clients and high net individuals from all over the world are welcomed every day.

THE ROLE: 
There is a need for a highly qualified Payroll Officer to come into our client's company for a couple of months to sort out their processes and systems after bringing their Payroll back in house. 
Duties include: 
  • Setting up new starters and leavers on the Payroll  system
  • Submit new starter P45s/P46s online
  • Making variable or fixed payment/deductions changes and adding them to the flexi-form
  • Checking trial run against data input for accuracy
  • Compiling sign off spreadsheet for authorisation by HR
  • Sending out employee payslips and P45s
  • Processing manual calculations for late leavers or late starters
  • Produce payroll reconciliations and journal upload
  • Ensure that all systems and data are accurate and up to date at all times
  • Make monthly PAYE payments to HMRC
  • Assist in creation of PSA forms
  • Liase with other departments and previous outsourcing team
  • Work with the system Cascade
  • Dealing with payroll queries from HR and employees

THE PERSON:
  • Attention to detail
  • Extensive Payroll experience
  • Can work alone but communicate clearly with all departments
  • Extensive Excel skills
  • 4-5 years experience working with Payroll
  • Payroll and Finance experience in a simlar role
  • Experinece of reconciling payroll accounts
  • Good organisation skills
  • A highly numerate individual who has a precise approach to working with data
