We're currently recruiting for an outstanding Receptionist to join the Front of House team at a busy TV production company based in West London.
The Receptionist will be responsible for the front of house desk, ensuring that all guests, visitors and colleagues are given a first-class welcoming and efficient service.
Applicants must live within commuting distance of West London and be available to work 8am-4pm shifts.
Key responsibilities include:
- First point of contact for all visitors, guests and colleagues, welcoming and greeting them in person or on the telephone, answering and directing inquiries and announcing visitors.
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
- Responding to general emails from the public.
- Order office supplies for the organisation, keeping and maintaining stationery via the reception desk.
- Booking meeting rooms and arranging refreshments for meetings if required.
- Coordinating deliveries and couriers, distributing the post as required.
- Security requirements; ensuring access passes, signing guests in and out and issuing visitor passes as necessary.
- Booking taxis when required.
- Organising authorised car parking.
- Assigning lockers and keys to individuals.
- Monitor and order water when required.
- Order and maintain kitchen supplies and groceries
- Monitor coffee machine, clean when necessary.
- Arrange travel when required
- Any other ad hoc admin duties as required.
The successful candidate will have:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience of working on a busy reception desk, or for a large organisation.
- The ability to work alone and remain self-motivated.
- Good organisational skills and an efficient and confident manner.
- Be experienced with Microsoft Office, in particular, Word and Excel packages.
- Be familiar with telephone software packages.
