A prestigious US Law Firm is looking to hire a new European Business Development Analyst to join the London office on a permanent basis, working in a team of 3 – in addition to London, this role will also support the European offices. Responsibilities will include assisting Partners in preparing targeted presentations and meeting materials (pitch books, brochures, trifolds, duo folds and deal sheets), in a manner that effectively communicates the firm’s relevant experience and articulates clear reasons why the firm should be retained, assisting the Business Development Senior Manager in creating new marketing collaterals, work closely with creative services in adhering to the style and branding standard of such collaterals, work closely with the Business Development Assistant to maintain housekeeping of deal lists and all Business Development materials for the practice, assist the Business Development Senior Manager on league table and deal alert submissions, lead and work with Communications on submissions to directories, guides, awards and other surveys, coordinate competitive intelligence research, used to update lawyers on market trends, follow Firm news, note wins and maintain the practice experience database and updates in the CRM system. Working with the Senior Manager and/or Assistant, draft compelling marketing descriptions which communicate unique aspects of the deal and keep metrics up to date (type of deal, value, currency, etc.). Collaborate with worldwide staff to ensure non-English marketing descriptions are updated, coordinate and assist the Business Development Senior Manager on the organization of events from genesis to fruition including on the day logistics, coordinate content aspects of marketing conferences and other events and in this capacity, coordinate efforts with the lawyers and the Communications team in the practice’s thought leadership pieces. Candidates need to have extensive Business Development experience within a law firm, working at Coordinator level, strong Analytical, organisational and written skills. Candidates must be degree educated and have strong attention to detail skills.
