A prestigious US Law Firm is looking to hire a new CSR & Diversity HR Officer to join the London on a permanent basis playing a key role in shaping, developing and driving the CSR & Diversity strategies as well as implementing, coordinating and facilitating a range of activities and initiatives in line with the firm’s global strategy.  Responsibilities will include acting as a key contact internally and externally for CSR activity including representing the firm at Pro-Bono and charity events, working closely with the London committees by producing minutes and coordinating actions from the meetings, identify CSR awards and draft submissions in order to promote the firms charitable and community initiatives, prepare and oversee the CSR budget, ad-hoc projects and reporting, assist with the coordination of existing Pro-Bono schemes, work alongside the BD team to promote the firms progress, devise and manage an internal communications programme, manage an external communications programme promoting the firms charitable and community initiatives. Other duties will include promote the firms D&I strategy by building awareness and understanding of the benefits of a diverse and inclusive workforce, work directly with the Diversity Committee attending the meetings, research, promote and apply initiatives, maintain up-to-date knowledge of anti-discriminatory legislation, translate equality legislation into practice, implement and review D&I policy, manage all D&I initiatives, manage relationships with external membership organisations, prepare and oversee the diversity budget, provide diversity information for client pitches, implement work experience programmes.  In addition to leading the CSR and D&I teams, the successful candidate will be assisting daily with all HR overflow work from the team. Candidates must have a minimum of two years’ experience of working within a HR team within a law firm, ideally with experience of working within D&I and CSR. Candidates need to have excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills, along with an advanced knowledge of using Microsoft Office packages.
