HR Administrator

Are you a strong administrator and passionate about a career within HR and have about 3-5 years’ experience within a corporate organisation?

Our client, based in Central London currently has a new opening for an HR Administrator on a 12 month contract to start mid-September.

You will be responsible for providing a 360 service for this leading asset management organisation as well as being able to prioritise and adapt to the different duties of the position.

Your main areas of responsibility will include:

  • Recruitment and On-boarding for temporary and permanent staff – preparation of job descriptions, liaising with recruitment agencies, management of social media platforms, managing response and setting up interviews.
  • Producing letters, new joiner paperwork, pre-employment checks, induction packs.
  • General administration duties – joiner/leaver process, dealing with contractors and consultants, maintaining the HR database and various spreadsheets, Monitoring sickness and producing monthly report, preparing documents for changes in contracts, handling maternity and paternity administration, assisting with general queries, handling incoming correspondence to the HR Dept.
  • Payroll – providing monthly changes regarding staff details, sickness, etc.
  • Employee Relations – providing general support to HR Managers including note-taking at meetings.  Handling general queries.
  • Project work – as and when required.

You will have previous relevant experience within a corporate organisation within the HR Dept. Excellent communication and IT skills.  Highly organised and able to prioritise your workload accordingly.  Able to pick up systems and processes quickly.  Real team player as well as being able to work on your own.  Able to handle confidential and sensitive information.  Have a can do attitude, be committed and enthusiastic about working within HR.
