IT 1ST LINE SUPPORT

I am recruiting on behalf on a Design agency based in central London who are looking for an outstanding 1st Line Support IT.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st line support to the business via an internal helpdesk system that supports users across 3 different sites.
• Communicating and working efficiently with both in-house and external IT teams.
• Deliver well documented troubleshooting for further 2nd line support.
• Running and maintaining our in-house user research labs, ensuring all IT equipment is fully functioning and kept up to date and in-line with the latest technologies.
• Keeping all existing IT processes documented and up to date as well as creating new documentation when required.
• Ensuring that all off-site research equipment is well maintained and organized accordingly for upcoming research dates.
• Providing out of hours IT support on events (typically around one per month).

Skills

• Strong knowledge of Windows 7/10 and Mac OS environments.
• Familiar with Office 2016 for both Mac and Windows with experience using calendars, delegate access and permissions being desirable.
• A basic understanding of networking, active directory and printers would be advantageous.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to spot recurring issues and act in a proactive manner.
• A willingness to learn and develop your skillset.
• The ability to manage and prioritise your time whilst working towards multiple deadlines

This role is paying up to £21K +benefits depending on experience
