Digital Marketing Analyst
Our client is looking for a Digital Marketing Analyst to join the team on a temporary basis covering the end of a maternity leave (duration around 3-5months). The role will be to provide insight analysis to support the commercial partnerships team.
Who will you be working for?
Our client is a publishing house with a strong commercial arm to the business. As a widely recognised media organisation, you will be joining an exciting and dynamic team. This role is based within the Kings Cross area which makes your morning and evening commute easily accessible to public transport.
What will you be doing?
Fundamentally this is a supporting role and you'll be analysing performance and taking ownership of reporting requirements. Based within the commercial team, you will supporting busy projects and responsibilities will include -
- pulling data from Google Analytics and social platforms to create Excel reports for around 50 campaigns on a weekly basis
- Interrogating the data to ensure it is correct and work with the data team where there are inaccuracies
- Working closely with the project management to improve reporting
- Responding to internal and external stakeholder requests in a helpful and constructive manner, providing data and insight
About you?
We are looking for the successful candidate who is to be calm, unflappable, able to offer support and assistance without stress and support the project management team (12 people) and sales team with ad hoc requests. You should have;
- Expert in Google Analytics, Excel, Google Docs and analytics functions with social platforms (Facebook/Instagram), Salesforce and third party tracking.
- Direct experience in an analytics role, ideally within media owner/agency background
- Excellent stakeholder management and presentation skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced digital environment
- Good knowledge of or demonstrable interest in SEO, social media and web publishing
- Experience of working under pressure and adapting to rapidly changing circumstances
