Receptionist/Office Administrator

I am currently recruiting for a Leading Global Market researcher based in Soho. They are looking for an outstanding Receptionist/Office Administrator that is happy to take up any task asked of them and be a real team player. This permanent Receptionist/Office Administrator role is paying up to 25,000 depending on experience.

Reception duties

  • Managing the switchboard
  • Booking & managing 3 meeting rooms/studios and any catering requirements
  • Keep Reception clean/professional looking; ensure it is presentable at all times
  • Handling of post
  • Greeting clients, visitors, contractors in a professional manner
  • Booking domestic and international couriers & taxis
  • Ordering and managing stock of food/tea/coffee to stationary for the building
  • Organising visas and itinerary for international travel
  • Organising DBS checks
  • Manage Reception cash/credit card expenses
  • Marketing support - newsletters, events, social media
  • Proof reading and tidying up presentations
  • Managing diary/emails
  • Making reservations for restaurants
  • Arranging conference calls and meetings
  • Booking personal appointments

Expected Standards of work:

  • Must be able to work efficiently and help other staff where needed
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, and the ability to communicate in the most appropriate and professional manner on the phone and face to face with clients, staff, contractors etc.
  • Must be able to prioritise, multi-task, and remain calm/collected during busy periods
  • Forward thinking - proactive
  • Excellent time management
