2 Months Temporary Events Assistant at Top US Law Firm £20,000+ Pro-rata

One of the top US law firms in London is looking to hire an extra pair of hands for their Events team, so is looking to hire an additional Events Assistant to work for an initial 2 month period starting at the beginning of September.  This role will be to assist the Events team consisting of the Events Manager and Events Coordinators with the planning and execution of client and internal events in London (to include internal and client social events, sponsorship opportunities and memberships and debentures); and ensure the implementation of the Firm’s best practice approach to event management plus research venues for both smaller and larger size dinners as well as events for internal and external clients.  This role will predominantly office/administrative based in the sense of helping with event organisation, venue finding,  invoice processing and marketing materials creation and distribution plus there will there will potentially be onsite support at though you will always be working with a member of the events team. Events experience is not essential however is preferable as the events typically take place before/after work (overtime is paid) - morning events typically involve a 7.30am start and evening events typically end around 9/10pm, additionally the events might require support onsite during weekends for overnight retreats however transport/meals will be covered and paid for.  Ideally looking for a recent graduate who has an interest or experience of working in events. Someone who is not afraid of hard work and is willing to muck in! Confidence/interpersonal skills are key as the person will need to be client facing over the phone & in person.  Offices are based in the heart of the City and this firm has one of the best reputations in the world.
