Student Enquiries Officer

A permanent full time position has become available with this private University within their Student Management Centre. We are on the lookout for a personable and enthusiastic Student Enquiries Officer to join the team and act as an ambassador for the organisation. This role is based in Central Manchester.

Who will you be working for?

Our client is a highly successful and well recognised company specialising in training and education for professional qualifications in a range of expert fields. Most well known for its Business School and Law School, this private organisation has campuses located throughout the UK and is no stranger to global companies and ambitious students. A distinctive, supportive and welcoming culture makes this a highly sought after organisation to work for.

What will you be doing?

As a Student Enquiries Officer, you will be qualifying leads gained from prospective students who attended job fairs, open days or even emailed the university directly, and follow up on each query. You'll speak to students on a day to day basis and find out more about their interests on various course and programs and then direct them to the appropriate department. You'll log every call or voice message left and track incoming calls at the same time in order to report call volume data to management. The job of the Student Enquiries Officer is to essentially provide excellent customer service and increase business for the organisation.

About you?

This role is going to suit someone who is bright, engaging on the phone and have a willingness to find out more about students who are looking for some guidance. You will be polite and open with your communication, coming across as enthusiastic and empathetic. You should be motivated in your desire to perform well and reach very manageable targets that are set. Proven experience within a outbound calling role would be desirable, but as long as you are great on the phone and a high achiever, this role could be perfect for you.

What's in it for you?

In return, you will receive a competitive salary and several employee benefits such as: 25 days holiday, free private medical insurance, free dental insurance, an attractive pension package, season ticket loan, free access to all courses, and many more.

This is a full time position paying £18k.
