We are currently recruiting for a super client of ours who is an accountancy firm based in the West End.  They have an urgent requirement for a bright, friendly, confident and extremely organised Accounts/BACS Payments Assistant. 

This role is based in their central accounts team and will involve processing BACS payments on behalf of the firm’s clients.  You will be required to keep accurate records of these processes, record disbursements and maintain a database that records day to day transactions.  This is a real process led role where reports have to be sent to clients on a monthly basis, accounts have to be reconciled and duties relating to VAT have to be carried out. 

This role requires someone that can work on their own initiative, work unsupervised and be extremely well organised to be able to deal with working in a busy and demanding office environment.  Great attention to detail is paramount for this role.

You must have excellent IT skills including MS Outlook and Excel.  An excellent command of English is essential for this role, along with the ability to disseminate numerical information.  Prior payment processing experience would be desirable and previous administration experience is required for this role.
