Our client is looking for a number Account Executives/Managers to join this vibrant and fun agency. You will be joining a well-established content agency. Trusted by some of the biggest names in the FMCG, entertainment, music and sports sectors, they have helped a number of global brands understand their audience and create a bespoke, highly effective story to target them. Well regarded for their innovative and original approach to it, this agency have already worked with some of the most high-profile companies in the world – and as they continue to expand their portfolio, they are also looking to grow their team.

Experience as a Junior Account Executive/Account Executive/Senior Account Manager is essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Liaise with journalists, producers and editors to secure a high standard of media coverage
  • Show a clear understanding of what makes a good news story across the different media platforms: online, print, broadcast and social
  • Achieve required objectives and KPIs for each project within agreed costs and timeframes whilst ensuring correct standards for all work is met satisfactorily
  • Good understanding of the media landscape both in UK and globally, across traditional and non-traditional / new media channels
  • Support on campaign planning globally and implementation locally for a range of consumer campaigns both global and UK
  • Work collaboratively across the business with the creative and production teams and manage the flow of information to the client with one consistent point of contact

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Ability to communicate effectively, with strong written and verbal communication skills
  • An keen interest and/or experience with global broadcast media
  • An awareness of how the public relations industry works alongside the media
  • Strong organisational, administrative and time management skills
  • Ability to write appropriately for differing requirements: press releases, status reports, contact reports, etc
  • Computer literate with a sound understanding of Microsoft Office, as well as online tools including DNA, Gorkana, Kantar, RAJAR, Year Ahead, etc
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work as part of a team and to take initiative
  • Preferable multi-language skills for liaising with global media
