Research Assistant (Graduate role)

A forward thinking law firm based in stunning offices in central London are looking for a bright graduate to join their team on a permanent basis as soon as possible. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has studied but doesn't necessarily want to go into academia, yet still wants to do something that will suit their degree and personality. There is the chance for this person to really make the role their own and they will be working alongside the managing partner of the firm so the scope is huge.

Duties include; 

• Conducting research on behalf of the managing partner into a broad range of subjects (topics will cover both business and personal needs and may include researching both people and businesses in order to provide detailed profiles as well as researching products or services
• Keeping up to date with the current economic and political market 
• Summarising information to create succinct reports 
• Sourcing subscriptions that are relevant and useful to the individual to be able to do thorough research 
• Project work 
• Sourcing products and services for the firms 
• Sourcing hotels or restaurants in London for the Managing Partner 

Skills required;

• Ability to work autonomously
• An excellent standard of written and spoken English is absolutely essential to this role 
• Proven experience of undertaking research will be very beneficial 
• Flexibility 
• Must be able to act discretely at all times 
• 2:1 degree or higher
