A prestigious London Law Firm is looking to hire a new HR Officer to work in the Graduate Recruitment and HR Generalist team on a permanent basis.  Responsibilities will include assisting the Graduate Recruitment Partner on the implementation of the firms graduate recruitment strategy and the firms recruitment programme, organising and running the graduate summer vacation schemes, reviewing and shortlisting training contract applications, running the graduate assessment centres, preparing feedback and summary reports for post-assessment panel meetings, preparing and distributing Partner packs for assessment days and interviews, issuing training contract paperwork, running open days, attending University Milk Rounds.  Other duties include assisting the team with policy, procedure and T&C requests, assisting the wider team with employee relations issues, monitoring the Fee-Earner sickness across the firm, utilising the firm’s HR system including imputing new starter details, running reports for sickness and annual leave, assisting with the new joiner process including organising the induction programme, processing all leavers from the firm, coordinate all mid and end of probation meetings, organising the firm’s work experience programme, assisting with the benefits programme, setting up payroll for all new joiners.  Candidates must have previous HR experience within a professional services firm, ideally within a law firm, in addition to needing specific experience working within Graduate Recruitment.  Candidates must have a degree, fantastic leadership skills along with strong communication, written and attention to detail skills along with advanced knowledge using Microsoft Office packages.
