An exciting role has just become available working for a leading international financial services firm based in the City. Our client is looking for an exceptional Production Specialist with an excellent administration background to join their busy, friendly Equity Research Team in their beautiful City based offices. This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday 09.00-18.00 with a generous salary of up to £40,000 per annum with excellent perks and a generous bonus package. The successful candidate will be working within a team producing research papers for the business as well as providing full research production support.

The role will focus on ensuring research is formatted professionally and in line with the firm’s branding guidelines. In addition, you will be responsible for extracting data and coordinating key research products for the firm. You will need to be fully proficient and confident with using Word, Excel and PowerPoint packages. It is a fantastic opportunity for someone who has experience with working within research and the financial services world.

Duties to include

• Producing, formatting, editing and proof reading research documentation using Word, Excel and Adobe Acrobat
• Ensuring branding and house style is consistent by providing full training to new starters and existing analysts
• Distribution of research materials and maintenance of research lists
• Liaising with compliance department to ensure rules and procedures are adhered to
• Editorial tasks (training will be provided)
• Creating charts using industry standard programmes
• Data entry, emails, telephone messages and ad hoc administrative requests, as required
• Reviewing research to ensure it is professionally presented in line with the firm’s requirements
• Troubleshooting problems and routing them to the correct team
• Design skills advantageous

The successful candidate must have the following skills to be considered:

• Advanced MS Office skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Intermediate Adobe skills
• Previous DTP experience within Equity Research with proven ability to create complex charts and work with financial data
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong, professional written and spoken communication skills
• Confident with workflow systems and able to cope in a busy environment
• Highly organised approach to work
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal peers and research analysts alike
• Be able to prioritise workloads and work well both individually and in a collaborative sense with other team members.
