Our client, a cutting edge, contemporary design firm undergoing a rapid period of growth, is seeking a Technical Purchasing Administrator to join their team on a permanent basis.
Amongst the varied responsibilities of the Technical Purchasing Administrator are:
*Assistance with Technical Purchasing, working from technical drawing to create
orders for panels, metalwork, upholstery and seating
*Sourcing new suppliers when required
*New order scheduling - noting special products and creating order acknowledgments
*Stock control, destocking and completing paperwork
*Coordinating shipping of export jobs
*Checking CAD drawing to ensure they match order acknowledgments
*Generating cut lists from the automated system
Technical Purchasing Administrator - what we're looking for:
*Previous experience within Purchasing is essential
*Knowledge of furniture assembly and manufacture, materials and fittings
*AutoCAD experience would be highly advantageous
*Basic grasp of engineering drawing and principles
*Good knowledge of MS Office, with the ability to design, edit and maintain Excel
files
*The ability to balance priorities in order to meet deadlines
*A keen eye for detail
