EA to Executive Management Team

£29,399 - £34,586

1 Colmore Square, Birmingham B4

About us

Our purpose is to protect the public by regulating dental professionals in the UK. All dentists, dental nurses, dental technicians, clinical dental technicians, dental hygienists, dental therapists and orthodontic therapists must be registered with us to work in the UK. The support and experience of our dedicated and highly focused teams is invaluable. This is your chance to build on your own skills and experience and make a worthwhile contribution to our work.

The role

Our organisation is embarking on some huge and exciting changes over the next few years and we are looking for a career EA who is ready for a new challenge and able to get things done, fast.

We believe providing support to our Executive Management Team is of paramount importance and this is an integral role within the GDC where you will find yourself assuming the public face of a senior executive and performing the role of gatekeeper by being the first point of contact for internal and external clients.

This is a very fast-paced EA role that requires superior attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, great organizational skills and the knack of coping with multiple critical requests and demanding clients.

Do you have what it takes?

You will be a natural and confident communicator with a high level of integrity and professionalism, able to deal with senior professionals, complete tasks quickly and react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround.

Not only will you be a top-notch EA, you will also thrive in a team environment and show a proactive and adaptable approach to your work by supporting your EA colleagues during busy periods and juggling a very busy workload.

A great sense of humour would be a bonus so if you can have fun at work and help others to do the same AND you have the tenacity and determination required to do this role, we would love to hear from you!

The GDC is committed to equality and diversity. We encourage and support the recruitment, retention and career development of people from as wide a range as possible of ethnic, cultural and social backgrounds.

Benefits:

To reward you for your hard work and commitment, we offer an attractive benefits package that includes a generous pension scheme, flexi-time and 25 days’ annual leave (not inclusive of bank holidays).
