We’re seeking a proactive, meticulous and highly organised Sales & Marketing Assistant to provide a broad range of support to our new Added Value Products team. Working closely with departments across the business, you’ll conduct research and utilise internal information systems to compile accurate market intelligence, ascertain monthly sales figures for our added value products and communicate project status updates to relevant stakeholders. You’ll also have the opportunity to coordinate your own projects – from working with external agencies to develop engaging marketing materials and promotional items, to planning industry events (including trade fairs, conference and business meetings). To support the smooth running of the department, you’ll take a central role in our departmental administration to ensure our clients and visitors receive an exceptional level of service: arranging meetings, managing team schedules, booking travel and coordinating hospitality. Please note, there will be opportunity for European travel in this role.

The Person:

With previous experience in a similar busy administration, marketing or event management role, you take a creative approach to solving problems, think about tasks from multiple angles and are used to anticipating the unexpected! With strong organisation skills, you’re comfortable managing your own workload and prioritising tasks to meet deadlines, even in a fast-paced and changeable work environment. As a natural team player, you’re always happy to support your colleagues, take pride in your work and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service. With excellent communication and interpersonal skills, you’re confident liaising at all levels of authority and navigate cultural differences with ease. As a quick learner, you possess good IT skills across the Microsoft Office suite, are familiar with using databases or CRMs and aren’t fazed by learning new company systems. Working across a European remit, the ability to speak and write in other languages would be beneficial, as would the flexibility for occasional travel to support projects.

The Rewards:

In return, we offer a competitive salary and rewards package (including holiday, bonus and pension scheme). Not to mention the opportunity to genuinely make a difference in a new and dynamic role within a progressive and expanding business, at an exciting time of growing international reach.
