About the Role

  • We are seeking a confident & resourceful EA to a Board Member. 
  • The EA role will include heavy aspects of diary management with the ability to work alongside other EAs/ PAs and effectively manage the time of the Board Member. 
  • The successful candidate will need to take control in intense and high pressured situations,be a born problem-solver, highly organised and IT literate with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • The Board Member has high expectations in terms of attention to detail and quality of work. You will be a highly supportive and trusted person to advocate their business initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage scheduling- coordinate with the activities of multiple teams member across our offices and external companies.
  • Provide personal support for the Board Member.
  • Arrange and manage the reception of internal and external visitors.
  • Organise conferences and meetings.
  • Mailbox management (with minimal guidance).
  • Plan, book and arrange all travel.
  • Track expenses and reconciliations for the Board Member and manage expense approvals for direct reports.
  • Prepare and collate packs/documents for meetings including board meeting papers.
  • Assist in preparing PowerPoint presentations where appropriate.
  • Coordinating all HR related responsibilities for direct reports such as annual performance reviews and objective setting.
  • Carry out additional ad hoc duties as required. 

 

Regulatory Responsibilities 

  • Demonstrate an understanding of and compliance with regulatory framework. 

 

About you

Requirements:

  • Ability to effectively interact with people at all levels.
  • First class organisational skills and a service-driven approach.
  • Polished communications skills- both verbal and written.
  • Extremely well organised and detail oriented with a flexible approach.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a "can do" and "do whatever it takes" attitude.
  • Takes ownership of assigned tasks and can work independently.
  • Resourceful problem solver with the ability to anticipate needs.
  • Effective multitasker- ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and calmly under pressure.
  • A team player who is professional and responsible with a positive attitude.
  • High integrity, trustworthy, and discreet with sound judgement and professional maturity.
  • Advanced level of MS Word, PowerPoint (this is imperative), Excel.
