Project Manager
Our client is looking for a few Project Administrators to work for them on a temporary basis for 2-3 months with a potential to go on further. You will be joining the professional body responsible for education and training, and setting and raising standards in psychiatry. Professionalism, dedication and passion are what make the company successful.
Who will you be working for?
Their focus is on training, research, quality and advice for its vast member base in the health sector. They are an academic institution with a passion for increasing the standards of healthcare provision in the U.
The nearest station to them would be Tower Hill.
What does the role consist of?
- To project manage the development of mental healthcare pathways of care in accordance
- Manage the development of an implementation guide and relating implementation tools for health and social care commissioners and providers in line with NHS
- Be the primary liaison point for key stakeholders regarding the project
- Working closely with the team to help with Improvement to develop the scope of each project
- Design and develop a project plan with a risk register and identify key milestones
- Identify key project costs
- Manage the recruitment of the relevant National Advisors, expert committees and topic groups in line
- Work closely with the team for each project
- Support the committee of leading national experts with all administrative aspects including minute taking, writing reports and presentations
- Provide additional support throughout the process
- Organise and ensure delivery of regular conferences
- Ensure the relevant training requirements are met
- Monitor and evaluate each project's progress
- Ensure that the project intranet pages are set up and are kept updated
- Combine sections of the final publication and manage deadlines
- Working with the expert committee to identify opportunities for implementation
- In addition to project related meetings, attend and contribute to relevant meetings and presentations to promote/ represent your project
- Contribute to the ongoing review and development of project management processes across the team to help ensure consistency.
What will the successful candidate be like?
The ideal candidate should be someone who can hit the ground running and have experience working in a similar position or environment. They must have an eye for detail and be able to work efficiently to a high standard. They must be comfortable working on their own initiative; Have excellent project management skills and must be flexible and willing to tackle whatever comes up. Must be Prince II and/or Agile qualified and good working knowledge of the healthcare systems.
