This Sports, Entertainment and Communications Group seeks to recruit an enthusiastic and self-reliant junior to join its small Head Office team to work in a challenging, energetic and rewarding environment. The role will also involve working closely alongside each of the Group’s five divisions to ensure that the central requirements of the business are met in a timely and efficient manner. The role is to cover three main areas with a focus on finance, property and company secretarial. Whilst the role is wide-ranging, the focus will be on supporting an experienced team and will therefore be an excellent opportunity to acquire solid experience of the role and functions of a head office team. The role will be supported by formal training and assistance with qualifications.

 

  • Oversees bank account opening and closure process
  • Maintains and administers both physical and electronic mandates and permissions
  • Maintains treasury books and records
  • Facilitates treasury documentation
  • Reviews mandates for compliance
  • Monitoring and acting on levels of surplus and trapped cash
  • Assistance in establishing and managing the groups intercompany loan transactions
  • Administering loan documentation
  • Maintenance of Property database
  • Liaising with stakeholders to ensure information is provided in a timely manner
  • Ensuring key dates are noted and actioned
  • Liaison with key property advisers
  • Collating and sharing information on properties and responding to requests
  • Document & budget review
  • Monitoring of transaction process to ensure timely execution
  • Update and review budget spreadsheets
  • Ensuring policy on key clauses is maintained in relation to confidentiality agreements and certain contracts
  • Receiving and coordinating the execution of contracts
  • Assistance with the preparing documentation responding to requests
  • Maintenance of company books and records
  • Preparing standard form Intercompany loan documentation
  • Assistance with implementation of Bonds and guarantee documentation

 The ideal candidate will have a degree or equivalent qualification which complements the legal, finance and business environment in which they will be working.
