Committee Administrator and GDPR Project Co-ordinator
This role will involve supporting and servicing meetings for Senior Staff member, Board of Trustees, Council and associated committees, provision of administrative support to Head of Service and Lead GDPR consultant, in addition to other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Who will you be working for?
This organisation focuses on training, research, quality and advice for its vast member base in the health sector. They are an academic institution with a passion for increasing the standards of healthcare provision in the U.
What will you be doing?
- Supporting the process of meeting agenda drafting and minute taking
- Drafting documents of Council and Board papers as required
- Assistance with co-ordination of meetings and cycle of committee work
- Acting of first point of contact for Board of Trustees and Council - passing on relevant information/enquiries
- Supporting a GDPR project and the work of the Project consultant including:
- Development of an overview of the college's work, policy and practice
- Supporting the establishment of data organisation and processing as required by the GDPR
- Maintaining a contracts log
- Establishing and maintaining a bank of relevant policies and procedures
- Maintaining weekly updates for the project
- Liaising with project sponsors/project teams
- Assisting with website maintenance
- Booking travel, invoice/receipt processing
About you.
- Graduate calibre or equivalent qualifications
- First-rate organisational skills
- Coordinating projects at other organisations
- Formulating and maintaining project documentation, in line with market-leading project management methodology.
- Providing administrative support.
- Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to draft own correspondence
- Ability to interpret complex written and numerical documents
- Ability to work well as part of a small team and liaise effectively with a range of staff and College members
- Ability to maintain accuracy while working to deadlines
- Experience of committee support in a professional environment
- Good keyboard skills and a working knowledge of MS Office
