HR Manager – Interior Design - £35K to £39K
This London based interior and architectural design company are looking for a HR Manager but it won’t be for everyone.
It’s a new role, they are small and growing so you’ll need to be happy mucking-in, particularly with Office Management in this superb creative environment.
The company works on distinctive and high-end projects such as residential, restaurants, private members clubs, luxury hotels and super-yachts both domestic and internationally. Your responsibilities will also cover staff in international offices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Receive, review and coordinate approvals for all hiring-related documents
- Aid in the recruitment process of new employees – Full-time and Freelancers
- Negotiate Recruitment Fee Agreements and pay package offered
- Prepare offer letters and contracts of employment
- Manage all new hire documentation and on-boarding
- Manage GDPR compliance in relation to HR
- Develop and implement HR policies & practices
- Maintain employee records and information
- Oversee Visa process and travel insurance for employees
- Support Management in employee relation issues, including probation reviews, absence management, disciplinary and grievance procedures, in line with company policy.
- Developing and implementing new processes to help the company offer a better workplace for staff
- Set-up and keep updated company Handbook
- Run yearly appraisals from booking meetings to making sure objectives are followed
- Keep record of holidays / approval and add to relevant calendars
- Set-up Pension cover on completion of three months probationary reviews
- Leaver letter and questionnaires
Essential Experience:
• At least 3 years HR Manager experience preferred
• CIPD qualified: Level 3 Minimum
Key Skills:
• Strong experience building and maintaining culture in a rapidly growing business
• Experience implementing processes and managing legal and compliance issues
• Ability to mentor, coach and performance manage a team
