Executive Assistant to Chairman

We are still on the look-out for an outstanding Executive Assistant, and our client is searching far and wide - willing to hold out for the perfect candidate - and this could very well be you! A professional, diverse and traditional environment offering a support-based role in their stunning top floor office, this is one of the most highly sought after organisations to work for.

Who will you be working for?

Our client is an expert shipping organisation founded in the UK and now consists of a well established portfolio of clients worldwide. As one of the world's leaders in maritime transportation, they have now also expanded their involvement in offshore drilling. With a wealth of knowledge in their expert field, they are passionate about what they do and care extensively about the projects that they take on an international scale.

In terms of location, it doesn't get better than this - The heart of City London. Just a short walk from both Bank and Monument station, you'll be in the heart of the financial and commerce district. This area is buzzling with business activity, city workers and ambitious professionals. Dotted in the historic streets of the area are plenty of eateries, city bars and Michelin star restaurants. Public transport makes this area an easily accessible area by underground and buses.

What you will be doing?

This is an incredibly busy and intense Executive Assistant role that primarily involves managing the daily needs of the Chairman's office. Supporting the Executive Chairman, you will be coordinating the business schedules, travel arrangements and accommodation bookings for him as well as his personal diary plans and engagements. Dictation, drafting correspondences and self-composed correspondences will be part of the role as the E to this high level Executive. Alongside his diary, you will have the ability in being involved with media reviews and managing and coordinating company events and activity.

The hours of this role is 10am - 7pm so missing the morning and evening rush is a bonus worth mentioning!

About you

We are looking for someone who is has experience working for a global organisation supporting a high level executive. To succeed in this role, you will need to be able to prioritise duties and highlight important areas of attention for the Chairman's knowledge. Being confident in your English language ability is paramount to efficiently support the Chairman on a daily basis. As the E, you will understand the importance of being an effective communicator with an international awareness/exposure to cultural etiquette.

Strong administrative, computer skills is a must. Ideally, you should have shorthand/rapid typing speed, but not essential.

Individuality, tenacity and a proactive working mentality is key to fulfilling this incredible role.
