Immediately available Legal Receptionist required for a prestigious law firm based in central London. Temp to perm . Must have previous experience within a law firm.
The role involves working with a team of Receptionist/Switchboard Operators to ensure the smooth running of the Reception and Switchboard
The duties and personal attributes for the role include the following:
Working on a busy Avaya Switchboard. The duties include:
*Dealing with calls and regularly reviewing the call logs in order to improve the service.
*Answering external calls and dealing with internal enquiries.
*Ensuring timely and accurate handling of calls, enquiries and delivery of messages.
*Announcing all callers to the recipients.
*Meeting and greeting clients and visitors at Reception.
*Dealing with the arrival of couriers/deliveries.
*Booking cabs, taxis and couriers and updating the necessary logs to keep an accurate record of the bookings.
*Managing the booking processes for the meeting rooms.
*Liaising with our Housekeepers regarding refreshments for meeting room bookings.
*Liaising with the IT Department to set up IT equipment for use in the meeting rooms.
*Handling calls on a screen based Avaya System.
The successful candidate must possess exceptional communication skills and be well presented. They must be self-motivated with the ability to multi-task in an often busy environment on the Switchboard or whilst on Reception and must have a positive/professional attitude must have previous experience working on a bus
