Recruitment Assistant
£30,000
6 months - all candidates MUST be available immediately.

Job objectives:

To support the Recruitment Manager in the full recruitment process and the wider HR Team across the business in any capacity if necessary.

Recruitment Administration
  • Administer documentation relating to new suppliers including setting new suppliers up on the finance system (Agresso); paying recruitment related invoices; administering amends to new supplier terms and conditions; organising external meetings; tracking progress on current agencies used
  • Arrange, coordinate and manage the interview process for internal and external candidates including preparing interview questions; delivering feedback to candidates and suppliers; managing log of candidates into the business
  • Handling responses to applications via the candidate tracking system (Jobtrain) ensuring this is done in a tactful professional manner at all times.
  • Preparing and posting new starter offer packs
General Team Support
  • Provide support across HR team as required especially to assist during leave or periods of increased workload.

Knowledge and experience essential to fulfil the requirements of the post

  • Solid experience of working in a busy recruitment team driving recruitment processes
  • Experience of following processes involving a high level of attention to detail with competing demands is essential
  • Experience of working in a corporate environment and exercising diplomacy, tact and professionalism is essential
  • Ability to organise their own time effectively and remain flexible for ad hoc requests
  • Experience of using social media/IT platforms to support recruitment and employer brand awareness would be an advantage to candidates

  • Ability to forge relationships quickly in order to achieve objectives
  • Ability to communicate with a high degree of emotional awareness and tact is essential
  • Ability to use initiative and work independently with autonomy is essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
