A unique opportunity to join a dynamic, fast paced company as Office Manager. This company is in a phase of rapidly expanding so many opportunities for a forward thinking individual! As the clients are all dog owners, experience of working with or handling dogs is essential!
About us
Established in 2005, Pets in the City Ltd is a very busy and successful dog boutique and day creche catering for all dogs needs including a grooming parlour, boarding, training and walking service based in Ladbroke Grove, West London. We pride ourselves on running a professional service handling up to 30 dogs per day. We are also expanding the business to incorporate a Country Club and Spa for Dogs in Dorset.
Candidate Requirements
- We are looking for an articulate, well organised Office Manager to join our team in order to help us in maintaining and expanding our business.
- The successful Office Manager candidate will preferably have a business degree with experience in digital marketing, promotions and managing an office/small business and its staff.
- They must have a good knowledge of POS systems, websites, social media, digital marketing and promotions.
- Good communication and organisational skills are essential for this Office Manager position both face to face, via phone and email therefore an excellent command of both the spoken and written English Language is required.

- Hours worked will be 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday – Friday however sometimes the job may require one to stay later on occasion. Salary is £27,000 per annum (holiday pay included) with a 3 month probationary period and a yearly review.
Whilst this is essentially an office based role which requires good managerial skills it is also important to note that our clients are dog owners therefore a good knowledge of dogs, their breeds and general temperaments are needed from the Office Manager. A clean UK driving licence is also required.
