An amazing opportunity exists for a graduate 2^nd jobber with 6 months + experience in guest relations and administration to join this family owned and run design school with a myriad of exciting courses in interior design, decoration and garden design. The role is based in the marketing and admissions team which advises prospective students and enquirers on courses offered at the school. Your main responsibilities are to provide a general information and advice service for prospective students acting as the first point of contact for course enquiries and continued communication between themselves, prospective students and academic staff.

Specifically you will handle course enquiries via phone/email/in person and advise students on course selection based on personal circumstances and learning style. You will schedule face to face interviews and organise interview paperwork, send out application forms, assist in the preparation of Open Days, exhibitions and other promotional events, support the monitoring and record keeping of prospective student sign-ups for taster courses, open days, prospectus requests and other enquiries. You are a graduate or graduate calibre with relevant experience working in “customer care” in a front line customer focused role preferably in a student centred academic environment. You are a natural peoples person who is excited about Art & Design.  You use initiative and creativity to resolve day to day problems.
