Job Description of the PA 

Owing to an internal move our People Director needs a new Personal Assistant PA based at our Hatfield office. The people team at Affinity Water is passionate about delivering an excellent experience for its colleagues.

• The purpose of this role is to provide professional pro-active and confidential support to the People Director on a day-to-day basis.
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders you will become a key member of the team.

We are changing the way we deliver HR to Affinity Water, to the point where we’ve changed our name to the People Team. 

• As PA, you play a key part in this, supporting the People Director and the wider team on an ad-hoc basis. 
• You’ll manage the diary, act as the first point of contact, establish and maintain office systems, organise meetings, compile board papers, organise events and much more.

Requirements for the PA

• We really want to hear from you if you have demonstrable experience in being a personal assistant, preferably within an HR/People department. 
• You’ll be a self-starter
• Able to work autonomously and not afraid to challenge the way we do things, always looking at how we work more efficiently.  It goes without saying that you’ll be super organised
• A brilliant administrator and proficient at MS Office applications. 
• Experience of HR Information Systems and Procurement systems are beneficial.
