Our client, a rapidly growing outsourced IT provider with offices in the heart of the City, are seeking a Service Desk Co-ordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.
Prioritising calls coming in via the client service desk and assigning these to engineers as necessary to ensure exceptional customer service, duties of the Service Desk Coordinator will include:
· Ensuring that all requests for support are efficiently and effectively handled
· Acting as the first point of contact for customers, logging calls on to the in-house system and responding to online portal requests
· Dispatching engineers and monitoring progress to ensure customers are satisfied
· Organising repairs
· Arranging replacement parts
· Carrying out stock takes as and when needed
· Escalating issues to the Service Manager as required
· Raising purchase orders and reconciling invoices
Service Desk Coordinator - what we're looking for:
· Solid experience in a customer service Helpdesk focused role is required, but technical training will be given
· A highly professional telephone manner is essential
· Strong Excel skills
· A real team player with a flexible attitude who is happy to take on additional administrative tasks
· The ability to prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines
· A confident and outgoing personality
