Role Overview

Our client is a world leading Logistics and Property company based in the west end, which counts with some breath taking offices and an incredible environment to work. They are evaluated in more than £12 billion but still have a very much family feel with great banter in the office.

The client is currently recruiting for a part-time EA to report directly into the CFO and working alongside one other EA who does the job share. The overall purpose of this role is to perform generalist EA duties to the CFO as well as assisting the wider finance team. This person will be based in our office in London on Carnaby Street.

The successful candidate will be a point of contact for external guests both in person as well as on the phone so a pleasant, friendly and approachable disposition is essential.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Extensive diary
  • Some travel – not much
  • Help with board packs
  • Role is big on administration to the CFO but also to the rest of the team
  • Confident taking minutes in board meeting
  • Confident gate keeper
  • Maintaining accurate log of problems to be solved

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

The EA must possess the following:

  • A friendly and outgoing disposition
  • Polished and well presented
  • A pro-active can do attitude and may often have to operate to tight deadlines or react to urgent situations
  • A strong team player, able to both benefit from other individuals’ experience and, in turn, support the team
  • Excellent telephone and email manner with good communication skills
