US law firm based in London is looking to hire a recent graduate or a graduate finishing university this year to join as a new HR Administrator with a particular focus on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Diversity, this is a perfect opportunity for anyone who is/has studied for HR qualifications and has a particular interest  in CSR or Diversity and wants to join a forward thinking law firm who take great pride in their brand and for what they are able to put back in to the community.  This role will be a real mix of duties, reporting directly in to the Director of HR you will be responsible for all the administration function for the law firm’s CSR and Diversity initiatives, programs and internal controls including a large part of the role assisting and often taking responsibility for the high volume of CSR/Diversity events/functions as well as implementing, co-ordinating and facilitating a range of activities and initiatives, often aligned with charitable organisations, which are designed to have a positive impact on the environment and local communities.  Duties for the events will include assisting with event implementation,  implementation of events (including drinks receptions, lunches, charity promotions, seminars, conferences, and webinars), drafting of event invitations, managing the invitations and working with internal and external sources to design and send out invitations, liaising internally to book rooms, catering, equipment, draft run sheets, explore event ideas and assisting in the preparation of event materials (handouts, badges etc.). Additionally you will be involved with supporting the Charity of the Year Group and act as the main liaison for various charity partners and other charities that contact the firm with requests for funding support, working closely with the London Office Community Committee, coming up with creative ideas to enhance its contribution in the local community, help develop and build the reputation as a socially-responsible employer committed to providing equality of opportunity for all employees, maintain the network of CSR contact and devise and manage an internal communications programme (including the production of supporting materials, such as videos, brochures, etc.) to encourage individuals across the London office to get involved in charitable and community projects.  Applicants need to be degree educated preferably within HR/Sociology with any further post graduate qualifications being received as a massive bonus.  This firm is housed in stunning City offices with standard hours of 9:30 – 17:30.  Applicants need to be confident, have strong attention to detail and be able to communicate at all levels.  Previous work experience is a bonus however not essential – it’s more going to be down to finding someone who has a passion for CSR/Diversity and be involved in helping the local communities.
