Human Relations and Resources Manager

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an results driven HR consultant for an leading international bank. It is essential you have proven experience and expertise in all areas of employee relations and employment law within a corporate environment. The role will contain elements of people and client management alongside business and regulatory responsibilities and you will be responsible for delivering business and people change initiatives, such as SMCR, reviewing policies and contracts as well as other ongoing ad-hoc projects. The role requires you to have a strong coaching and client centric approach in all aspects of your role as well an ability to be pragmatic and a trusted commercial advisor to the leadership team.

Due to the nature of the role, you will have to have the ability to make and deliver challenging and/or potentially unpopular decisions, often in complicated circumstances dealing with many conflicting priorities whilst maintaining composure under pressure and ultimately be able to deliver the right result.  You will be a confident communicator, with an approachable nature and the ability to interact with all levels of management with proven success of negotiation and influencing internal clients towards behavioural and cultural business changes.

To be considered for this role, you will be degree educated and a formal legal qualification will be preferred as well as an understanding of UK/ROI legal framework and regulations. You will also have a CIPD or equivalent qualification and the ability to evidence your continuous professional development. You will have a strong working knowledge of all HR functional areas with a focus on employment law, change management and employee relations from legal, generalist or specialist HR background.
