  • Assist in the accurate and timely allocation of sales receipts (cash, cheques, BACS and credit card payments)
  • Follow up with customers where the allocation of payments is not clear.
  • Ensure that any customer queries or complaints that come to light during the allocation process are flagged to the customer service department.
  • Provide copy invoices/statements to customers if requested.
  • General assistance with other routine accounts tasks if required
  • Undertake bookkeeping, inputting data.
  • Liaise with internal team members, suppliers and customers to ensure all correct information has been inputted.
  • Communicate with all stakeholders both inside and outside of the company on any bookkeeping/accounting matters.
  • Maintain a full and accurate audit trail by filing and referencing documents in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to proper accounting standards
  • Meet deadlines and time budgets
  • Advise line manager of any outstanding issues
  • Assist in preparing payroll
  • Prepare weekly/monthly/quarterly management accounts from information and documentation received, ensuring that all relevant deadlines are met.
