Recruitment Advisor – Law firm

My client a City Law firm, is seeking a Recruitment Advisor to join them on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will have legal experience and knowledge of Qualified Legal and Business Services recruitment.

The role:

• Work closely with Hiring Managers to draft job descriptions, obtain the relevant approval to recruit.
• Ensure roles are advertised appropriately (both internally and externally).
• Source candidates via job adverts, referrals as well as networking events.
• Liaise with recruitment agencies regarding role briefings, candidate submissions and ensure that the portal is regularly updated.
• Screen all candidate applications.
• This is an end to end recruitment position.

The person:

• The successful candidate will have legal recruitment experience preferably in house.
• Knowledge of recruitment market practices and exposure to legal recruitment.
• Experience of a professional services environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to develop internal and external relationships, and to build networks quickly.
• Outstanding organisational skills and ability to multi-task.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work under own initiative as required.
• Commercial and business awareness.
• Strong time management skills, ability to stay calm under pressure when juggling multiple mandates.
