Our client based in London is looking for an HR Advisor to start ASAP.
The main duties are:
- Be first point of contact for all HR related queries
- Ensure management teams are updated on new employment legislation
- Ensure all policies, procedures are in-line with legal required framework and updated
- Maintain personal records in accordance with Data Protection Act, particularly a focus with the immediate GDPR legislation
- Capture and maintain accurate information
- Support and assist the Learning and Development manager on projects
- Participate and present on on-boarding / Inductions
- Provide managers with employee relations case-work support relating to the following HR matters:
- absence management
- flexible working requests
- assist in communicating maternity / paternity policies
- assisting with any queries relating to Cascade HR and Payroll
- assisting in administering company and auxiliary benefits
- preparing offer letters and main statements and terms
- offering advice, arranging and supporting disciplinaries
- offer advice, arranging grievance hearings
- capability issues
- wellbeing/welfare support advice
- Ensure HR workflows are executed deliver payroll deadlines
- Assist in HR audits
- Onboarding - liaise and assist managers with recruitment
- Support the HR Manager in the delivery of HR elements
- Assist the HR Manager on determined change / transitional projects
- Prepare annual benefits schedule and renew contracts
The successful candidate will have previous HR admin/advisor related experience and have exposure to Payroll and understanding the fundamental elements of payroll. You need to have experience of corresponding and communicating with employees, be a strong team player and able to use your own initiative. You need to have a proactive approach to continuous improvement of practices, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and have excellent knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages. CPP or part CIPD is desirable.
