Receptionist / Office Assistant  - fun, dynamic, growing consulting company based in the city currently has an exciting new opening for a Receptionist / Office Assistant to come on board and make a difference. 

They have a fantastic working environment based in the City. The company is young and dynamic and growing quickly.

This position is a real focal point within the office. You will work alongside another Assistant providing an excellent service internally and externally.

Your duties will consist of front of house/reception – answering phones, meeting and greeting clients, providing refreshments and ensuring that meeting rooms are set up as required.

Handling incoming and outgoing mail and packages/couriers. Maintaining office supplies/kitchen consumables and ordering weekly. Act as main point of contact for the office and assisting with queries.

Ensure that all policies and procedures are adhered to. Running errands and carrying out ad-hoc tasks. Organising weekly social events in-house and off-site for employees. Organising travel and accommodation. 

Conduct routine facilities checks within the office. Oversee the tidiness of the office. Liaising with building management as and when required and ensuring a safe working environment is adhered to. Liaising with cleaning team. Building strong relationships with vendors, negotiating rates and SLA’s. Organise floor plans of the London Office.

You will have at least 12 months previous relevant experience within a corporate environment. Forward thinker, able to multi-task, use your initiative, real problem solver and a real go to person in the office. You will be confident and outgoing and have real enthusiasm for your role, able to think outside the box and keep calm at all times and work well under pressure. Excellent communicator at all levels. Excellent IT skills including Google Docs and MS Office. Excellent English both verbal and written.
