**Marketing | Business Development - North Wiltshire**

This is a truly unique and inspirational role working for an Estate steeped in family history and the passion of the current custodian. A stunning and tranquil property, located deep in the rolling North Wiltshire downs, the Estate is both a private home and run as a commercial business; and is seeking to employ a passionate, charismatic and energetic manager to oversee the current marketing strategies; work with the Estate’s Management team on the creation and implementation of new ones, and drive the business development to reach out to new areas of business to increase the current turnover. A background in luxury marketing, sales or PR would be useful, but more important is a dedication, creativity and a real commitment to the property and the brand.

Hours: Monday – Friday with occasional event management over weekends

Location: North Wiltshire 

Salary: c. £40,000 + incentives

Start Date: End of July

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

¨      Overseeing the current marketing activities and social media platforms for the Estate

¨      Creation and implementation of new business development and marketing strategies alongside projects to increase the annual turn-over of the business

¨      Management of 2 external events sites – a smaller entrance area in the parkland and larger more formal space in front of the house and gardens

¨      Overseeing internal exhibitions and fayres

¨      Working with the family and other estate management teams to run a cohesive and well thought out seasonal events programme in line with the brand’s reputation for quality and family friendliness

¨      Working alongside the marketing team for the onsite hotel and spa to ensure a complementary product is produced at all times

¨      Increasing local awareness of the Estate and its potential for large and small private and public events

¨      Increasing corporate sales for away days and formal / informal events

¨      Increasing the annual footfall of visitors to the house and gardens

Candidates must be / have:

¨      Prior experience working with a luxury brand or product

¨      Existing marketing or BD experience

¨      Energetic, charismatic and committed

¨      A lover of children, animals and events

¨      Organised with great attention to detail

¨      Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written

¨      Experience with copy writing and working with marketing collateral

¨      Calm and caring

¨      The ability to work independently

¨      Intelligent and solution driven

¨      A creative thinker with a real sense of fun

¨      The ability to connect with your target market – both old and young
