Your role

In your role as Executive Assistant, you will be supporting a very busy Director. You will run the diary, pushing back on meetings that aren't necessary and making sure that you fit time in there for your Director to get things done. You will be doing inbox management, answering emails where you can to ease the pressure. The Director travels both internationally and interstate, you will be in charge of booking travel and putting together an itinerary that makes the best use of time. As things are constantly changing, you will need to think on your feet and always two steps ahead. You will be fielding client enquiries so will need to have polished communication skills whilst having the professional phone manner to be able to 'gatekeep' calls from senior stakeholders. Presentation and reporting assistance will be a large part of this role both on a weekly basis.

Daily activities

  • Diary and inbox management
  • Liaising with clients - setting up meetings with new and existing
  • Scheduling of internal meetings; agendas and minutes
  • Preparing, drafting, formatting and checking correspondence
  • Travel &expenses

Your skills & expertise

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Professional services or Finance background
  • Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft office skills
  • Polished presentation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proactive, positive, can-do attitude
