Game Localisation / QA Tester

A games localisation company is looking for a talented Spanish (Mexican) speaking proof-reader with a good command of English, ideally with experience in video games or media translation to join their fast-growing West London office on an ongoing on-site temporary contract.


Role: Game Localisation/ QA Tester
Expected duration: 6 Weeks
Working hours: 11am - 8pm (with one hour lunch)
Location: West London
Start: Immediate
Pay rate: £9 - £9 per hour + Holiday pay


The Candidate

Key skills:

- Native level Spanish (Mexican) as you will localise terms specifically to that market
- Strong understanding of English (verbal and written).
- Previous translation experience, preferred.
- Experience working in an English-speaking environment.
- Superb focus and attention to detail.

Desirable skills:

- Working experience in videogame industry (Publisher / Developer / Vendor / Tester).
- Experience in manual creation process (Videogame industry or other).
- Understanding of translation memory tools.
