About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, professional and friendly receptionist to join our front of house team. This position is the focal point of the business and the first point of contact for Brewhouse Yard and all those visiting our design studio, so it is imperative that you demonstrate courtesy and efficiency at all times.

You will be based on the ground floor and will be responsible for the warm welcome of all staff and visitors to the building. As well as other reception functions and administrative tasks, you will also be required to assist with meeting room, refreshment and travel bookings for the London studio of 350 people as well as any ad hoc duties that arise.

Normal working hours will be Monday to Friday 9:30am to 6pm; however we do require a willingness to be flexible to cover occasional events or absences.

About you

You will be personable, professional, cheerful, well presented and understand the importance of first impressions as well as having an understanding of basic security and awareness of surroundings. SIA licence an advantage, but is not required.

You will be comfortable working on your own as part of a small team, willing to learn and have the confidence to deal effectively with people at all levels in the company and visitors from all over the world.

As well as having strong interpersonal skills, the successful candidate will have an excellent standard of written and spoken English, be IT proficient and have a pleasant telephone manner (you will not be required to operate the switchboard). Previous customer service experience would be an advantage.
